You know how people are like, “oh my god, that’s the best save I’ve ever seen.” Well, you know what? They were lying. Because this is the best. By far. It’s so amazing it doesn’t even make sense.
It occurred in an ECHL game between the Orlando Solar Bears and the Kalamazoo Wings. A bad bounce left the puck in front of an empty net. Orlando Goalie Cody Reichard scrambled as Kalamazoo closed in for what looked like an easy slam dunk goal. Then this happened.
WHAT.
THE.
HELL.
Sadly the Orlando Solar Bears lost in overtime 4-3. Cody Reichard could only do so much.
