Perry has history with the Wings. In the 2010 regular season opener, a mic’d up Perry was overheard threatening Pavel Datsyuk and Mikael Samuelsson. “Tell Samuelsson he’s gonna get it. You’re gonna get it too Pavel.” Datsyuk responded by fighting Perry later in the game.
