The second trailer for Machete Kills brings new action from its absurd cast. Finally we get to see more of Mel Gibson in action. Oh, and Sofia Vergara’s boob guns are back too. This movie gets more ridiculous with every clip, and that’s exactly how it should be. The original Machete was positioned as a campy b-movie, as is the sequel.
Wikipedia tells me that Robert Rodriguez came up with the idea for Machete when he met Danny Trejo while filming Desperado. He thought Trejo should be the Mexican Jean-Claude Van Damme and crank out a movie like Machete every year. I couldn’t agree more.
