Here’s the new Wes Anderson short film for you

It’s about an Italian race car driver and it’s sponsored by Prada. What a weird-ass world we live in. If you like Wes Anderson, you like him. If you hate him, you hate him. I’m kind of stuck in between, honestly. His stuff is always fun to look at, but the unceasing tweeness of his manufactured world kind of gives me the douchechills. The best way to experience Wes Anderson, in my opinion, is through short films, so they’re over before you have to think too heavily about them. His latest, Castello Cavalcanti, stars Jason Schwartzman as a race car driver who crashes in a small Italian village and has to deal with the locals. It’s only eight minutes long. What’d you think?
