Iowa basketball team shows off their wrestling moves

The University of Iowa has a rich wrestling tradition—23 national championships since 1975. Last night, the basketball team paid homage to their wrestling roots with this fancy judo takedown.

Turns out, you can’t throw people down like that in basketball. Boo-hoo. Bad Boys for life, amirite you guys? Zach McCabe was handed a technical foul on the play. Ironically, the only person ejected was Michigan State’s Russell Byrd, who left the bench area to defend his fallen teammate.

That’s college basketball officiating in a nutshell.
