Forget The Mountain from Game of Thrones, there is a real life giant walking among us, and his name is Josh Elliott.
This weekend at the Belmont Stakes, NBC Sports anchor Josh Elliott towered over the broadcast like one of those wacky waving inflatable men out in front of used car lots. In real life Josh Elliott is 6’3″, which isn’t short, but interviewing jockeys all day Saturday made it seem like Elliott is the second-coming of Fezzik from The Princess Bride.
It was incredibly entertaining. I’m requesting Josh Elliott only interview people under 5’5″ from here on out. Next assignment — Little League World Series.
