The Longhorns are eager to improve on last season’s 8-5 record and 7-2 record in the Big 12.

Longhorns fans are probably just as excited. But where can a Longhorns fan go to get up to the minute news about Texas Longhorns football? According to the 2014 Texas Longhorns media guide, fans should check out http://www.texsasports.com.

In all fairness to the media guide editor and staff, Texas is a tough word to spell. Especially when you only get to see it and spell it a billion times a day.

It’s fine though, the misspelled website is only on every single page of the 2014 Texas Longhorns media guide.

If you’re curious about the http://www.texsasports.com, well, it was snapped up not long after the error was noticed by Longhorn nation. Who bought it? A booster? The school, perhaps, to redirect to the real Longhorns website? A Longhorns fan?

Nope. An Oklahoma fan.
