How to make the Flaming Moe of ‘Simpsons’ fame

Fancy cocktail bars are all the rage, but none hold a candle to the Simpsons‘ Flaming Moe’s and its signature drink, the Flaming Moe. Tipsy Bartender shows how to make it, which apparently involves a strong-willed German girl and a glass of fire. The tricky part is that the Flaming Moe, which we all know was originally the Flaming Homer, doesn’t have actually a recipe.

I decided to mix the little bits that were left in every liquor bottle. In my haste I had grabbed a bottle of the kids’cough syrup. It passed the first test– I didn’t go blind. I don’t know the scientific explanation but fire made it good. – Homer J Simpson

If only Moe was as attractive as Sophia maybe the bar would have had a longer shelf life. You have to admire her national pride-based determination to separate the pint from the shaker. I know one of you sketchballs is thinking, “they’re pretty when they struggle.”
