McDonald’s employee fired for buttering swastika into a customer’s bun

This sandwich is offense but probably still delicious.

A North Carolina woman discovered a swastika burned into the bun of her chicken sandwich when she went to put mayonnaise on the bun. Charleigh Matice complained to the manager and the employee was immediately fired.

McDonald’s also issued a statement — written not in scrumptious butter on a fresh baked sesame seed bun — but in plain old ink on indigestible paper. Well if it’s not written in butter, what’s the point? Oh fine.

“We are very sorry for the service that our customers received, and to be clear we have terminated the employee who was involved. We do not tolerate that kind of behavior at McDonald’s, and it’s not what we stand for personally as owners. It is about providing the best level of service and care to our customers, and anything less than that is unacceptable to us.” – Dulcy Purcell, local McDonald’s Owner/Operator in Morehead City, NC

McDonald’s provides the best level of service for minimum wage. That’s their promise. They also promise no more buttered hate speech.
