Lions fans, your prayers have been answered. Ndamukong Suh’s foray into celebrity diving was short-lived. The defensive tackle was eliminated on Splash in a dive-off with former soccer star Brandi Chastain.
Suh’s first dive of the night earned him the lowest score with a 6.75. He had a chance to stay in the competition with a respectable second effort but failed miserably.
All in all, Suh got what he wanted from Splash—positive PR exposure when he saved Louie Anderson from drowning and a bump in personal branding. Didn’t hurt that he got up close and personal with Katherine Webb either.
That being said, things weren’t all that great. During a practice dive, Suh hit his head on the bottom of the pool and suffered a nasty cut.
He came away relatively unscathed but yea, that could have been much, much worse.
