Two solid minutes of good stuff. We’re starting to get spoiled. After yesterday’s huge dump of Pacific Rim images, Paramount also blessed us with a brand new, pretty long trailer for the flick. It’s held together by a speech from Idris Elba, and boy can that dude orate. When alien monsters from beyond the stars rise from the oceans to once again menace humanity, a select few humans must “neural handshake” with giant robots to fight them off. I’m already sold, but more trailers can’t hurt. Pacific Rim also stars Charlie Hunnam and Rinko Kikuchi and opens on July 12th.
