‘Real Sports’ sits down with Jay Williams on 10th anniversary of his crash

It was the summer of 2003. Jay Williams had just finished his first year with the Chicago Bulls. He struggled at times, most rookies do. But there was promise, there was something there. In a game against the New Jersey Nets, Williams had 26 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists. It was his best game as a professional.

On June 19th, Williams made a decision that would haunt him for the rest of his life. A decision that would keep him from playing basketball again.

Tonight on Real Sports, Jon Frankel sits down with Williams on the 10th anniversary of his motorcycle crash. Williams talks in-depth about the injury and the heartache he endured and how coach Mike Krzyzewski believed he could still play again.
