The Queen of England does nothing of importance for the country. So this video of the Queen’s Castle Guard being all “ooh look at us we’re so important” rubbed me the wrong way. But it is fun to watch them yell at a tourist trying to snap a photo, so take a look anyway.
I’m sure the guys working the Queen’s Castle Guard are very competent soldiers or something equally impressive. But I find it hard to take you seriously in your big furry hats protecting a castle that wields as much power as a British child with a vivid imagination. These guys should just embrace the fact they’re pretty much the guys in the Goofy costume at Disney World and get on with life. (via Daily Picks and Flicks)
