The Undertaker Wrestlemania 30 loss ‘a mistake’

The Undertaker Wrestlemania 30 loss made huge waves. It was the most talked about moment of the night. Was it a good idea?

Rumors are swirling that people within the WWE are beginning to question the decision to have the former UFC star, and current WWE part time wrestler, end wrestling’s most famous winning streak. The Undertaker Wrestlemania 30 loss put Lesnar over in a massive way, but, he’s been off WWE TV since.

Here’s the details from Bleacher Report — “Right now there are people in the inner circle who believe Vince McMahon didn’t make the decision for Undertaker to lose at the last minute, but simply waited until the last minute to let anyone know. There is still a lot of internal belief that it was the wrong call, basically I’m told that’s the majority viewpoint but nobody can publicly say it, particularly since there is no indication Undertaker won’t be back for next year’s WrestleMania.”

Unless Lesnar does little to nothing to capitalize on the Undertaker Wrestlemania 30 loss, it’s hard to call it a mistake. The win created a huge buzz the day after The Undertaker Wrestlemania 30 loss and might even set up one last feud should The Undertaker get back in the ring.

The Shield’s best six-man matches

Payback could see the end of The Shield as a cohesive unit. Rumors have been circulating for months that the WWE is toying with the idea of breaking up the faction and elevating each Shield member to a top-level singles competitor.

But before The Shield moves forward, it’s always fun to look back. Here are there best matches as a six-man tag team.

Vince Russo can explain the WWE’s low ratings — naturally

Vince Russo has a theory about the constantly average ratings of WWE Raw. He explained that theory on his new website. Here’s a snippet.

“We saw within a five-minute span on “Raw” last night why the ratings are HALF of what they used to be. In attempting to obtain ALL-the WWE has literally alienated, or “turned off” half their audience in the process. Don’t believe me-see what the IWS community has to say about last night’s “Raw” today. Yeah-they loved the Shield brawling with Evolution at the end-but, the baby bull-not so much. And what about the “families”? Oh, yeah, that bull thing was “cute”, but John Cena swearing-not so much. Now, if you keep doing this week in, and week out, the things you “don’t like” will eventually start to build, or add up-until all of a sudden-it’s OK if we miss “Raw” this week. Well, this week turns into next week, and the next week-until they’re not watching anymore.

By trying to be “all things to all people”-which they can’t be-nobody can-the WWE has shot themselves in the boot. For every kid they are gaining, they are losing an adult, and for every adult they are gaining-they are losing a kid. It a switch-off, an exchange, a vicious cycle.”

Good to see Russo’s regular writing is consistently as convoluted and awful as his TV writing.
