63-Year-Old Man Known As The ‘Silver Sniper’ Has Smoked 321 ISIS Fighters In 2 Years

Nearly a year ago, we introduced you to Abu Tahseen, a veteran of five wars who now is taking out ISIS with his incredible marksmanship. Last March Tahseen reportedly had killed 173 Daesh fighters since May of 2015. Despite being 63-years-old, Tasheen hasn’t even thought about retirement. In fact, he has upped his ISIS kill count to 321 jihadis since 2015.

Tasheen, known as the “Silver Sniper,” has vowed to liberate his home country of Iraq from ISIS. Tahaseen is a member of the Hashd Al-Shaabi, a Shia militia that is combating Islamic State. He previously fought in the Yom Kippur war, Iran-Iraq war, Invasion of Kuwait, the Gulf War and the present day crusade against the Islamic State.

Tasheen was so consumed with sniping Daesh that he was placed on leave, but that didn’t last long.

“Last time they gave me a month off and after 12 days I came back,” Tasheen said.

Tasheen always has his trusty Steyr HS .50 at his side and says he likes the sniper riffle because it knocks jihadis “back one metre before putting him down.”

The Silver Sniper is currently in Mosul in an attempt to flush out Daesh from the Iraqi city, ISIL’s last major stronghold in the country. There he has teamed up with Iraq’s Popular Mobilisation Units to eradicate ISIS from Iraq.

Iraqi Army forces have recaptured the Mosul Airport as well as neighborhood in western part of the city, which was the last significant urban area ISIL held in Iraq.
