It seems like during every Halloween in Maryland for the past 5 years I’ve seen at least 5 dudes walking around in banana costumes. I don’t get it. What’s the appeal? Why don’t dress up like a pineapple or any other type of fruit? But whatever, it looks like the states of Maryland, Minnesota and Connecticut have a strange banana fetish when it comes to Halloween.

Why people in North Dakota are dressing up as Care Bears is beyond me, the same as why people in Colorado are all about Medusa? But the most basic state has to be Virginia, where Anna from Frozen is apparently the most popular costume. Wasn’t Frozen a last-year thing? Barf, catch up with the times Virginia.
