This is something you’d expected to see straight out of a Yogi Bear movie. In South Korea tourists filmed two adult bears walking on their two hind adult bear legs, harassing park tourists for their picnic baskets, and getting handouts while a bus full of screaming tourists lost their friggin’ bananas.
For the past few days I had buddies sending me this video on Gtalk or iMessage, but I didn’t actually get around to watching it until this morning. I’m a little bit disappointed in myself for holding out because this is truly a bizarre sight to behold. This certainly isn’t the first time that we’ve seen bears standing up on their hind legs, that in and of itself isn’t all that rare. But to see two huge ass bears saunter up to a bus full of tourists and catch food in their mouths (which is more coordination than I’ve ever had), that is something that you just don’t see every day.
Seriously, these bears have more mouth-eye coordination than I do and that’s just not right
It’s been a hot minute since I last posted about bears here on BroBible but I’m sure that if you bros have caught my bear coverage in the past you were also fortunate enough to hear me bitch and moan about how I’ve been on the hunt to see a bear in the wild for years now. The ONLY wild bear I’ve ever seen was a juvenile black bear running across a highway up in the Adirondack Mountains in upstate New York. It happened so fast that I barely count it as an actual bear sighting. This upcoming Summer I’m planning on spending a full month up in the mountains and if I don’t see a bear by week two I think I’m going to just start baiting them, and leaving trash out to draw them in at night. Enough is enough, I want to see some goddamn wild bears. Is that too much to ask for?
