I’m going to be honest with you bros, I didn’t even know that there were bears in Thailand. Apparently Thailand’s home to the Asian Black Bear, also known as the ‘Moon Bear’ or ‘White-Chested Bear’. These bears also don’t appear to be particularly intelligent, and at the very least they don’t know that they’re supposed to look both ways before crossing the road.
This video was taken in Valentine’s Day in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, filmed with a biker’s helmet camera. In it the biker’s just cruising along, hugging the tight curves of the jungle’s winding road when out of nowhere he’s almost clipped by a fully grown black bear and is forced to pull out of the way as fast as he can. I guess it’s safe to say that this biker had never seen a black bear crossing the road in this region before, and was just as shocked as I was to see that massive animal bust out of the woods.
