Enormous Bonfire + Gasoline Accelerant = Big Bada BOOM

The long 4th of July weekend has finally arrived. From here on out we’ll be stuffing our faces with hot dogs and hamburgers. We’ll be cracking cold ones with the boys like it’s our only job in life. And, assuming we don’t live in an area of extreme drought where the tiniest spark can set the whole state on fire we’ll be shooting off fireworks into the night’s sky.

Some of you out there will be loading up campfires and bonfires all weekend long. Fires pair well with fireworks like a nice Cabernet and T-Bone steak. I’m here this afternoon to share this video with you bros as a cautionary tale: don’t load up your bonfire with an accelerant. The fire will burn and take off in time, you don’t need to drown it in gasoline to speed things up. If you do, you just might end up like these dudes who got blown to the ground as the bonfire exploded within seconds of being light.

If you are going to add accelerant to your fire this weekend you should, like alcohol intake, at least do so in moderation. There’s no harm in speeding things up a tad, but you don’t want to blow your wad out of the gate. (h/t DIGG Video)
