This Guy Is Raising Money To Crash A Plane Into A Building To Test 9/11 Conspiracy Theories

There are countless 9/11 conspiracies floating around the internet. The farther away the world moves from the tragedy, the more theories pop up, since the events are kidding kind of hazy in all our minds.

Paul Salo, a 51-year-old living in Asia, has possibly had it up to his eyeballs in all the conspiracy theories. He wants to prove them all — right or wrong — once and for all. Not a bad idea but his execution might be slightly off. He wants to buy a plane and fly it into a building and recreate the entire ordeal.

Earlier this month, Salo posted a video to YouTube detailing his plans to “purchase a 767 aircraft, fully loaded with fuel, and fly it at 500 miles per hour into a structure ‘similar’ to that of one of the twin towers.

“Many people want to know more about 9-11,” Salo explains on his Indiegogo page. “We are like a Mythbusters for September 11th. Many people doubt various details of 9-11. As the world has changed our trust in government and media has declined significantly. We want to see for ourselves. We don’t need people to guide our thinking.”

Salo explains that this experiment is not intended “to prove anything either way.” He just wants to take a plane, gas it up, get it up to 500 mph and run it right into a building and “let the chips fall where they may.”

Salo efforts have raised $10 so far. Maybe he’d get more money if he specified he’d be flying the plane.
