Customer Takes Photo Of The Really Questionable Place His Local Checkers Keeps Their Hamburger Buns

Stephen Staley was at his local Checkers location in Tennessee and dropped into the facilities because fast food. Stephen noticed something incredibly off-putting — a crate of hamburger buns right next to the crapper.

Staley noted that the buns were wrapped and even snapped a photo, but still, is the bathroom really the best place to store food?

According to Checkers, who found Stephen’s Facebook post and took immediate action, it was all a big mistake.

The buns were misplaced during a delivery at the franchise-operated Checkers location in Cleveland, Tennessee, on Saturday, April 23, 2016, and when discovered, they were immediately disposed of by the restaurant team. The buns were never served, and the employees involved in the delivery have been disciplined.

“Misplaced” is an interesting word. If you misplaced a set of keys it means you don’t know where you put them. Did the staff at Checkers not know where the entire shipment of buns went? Does no one working at Checkers use the bathroom? I hope they didn’t misplace a deuce in the fryer since they seem to get rooms confused incredibly easy.
