Allow Chris Pratt To Teach You How To Clean A Fish, A Must-Know Skill For Every Bro

Chris Pratt has morphed from the lovably pudgy Andy Dwyer on NBC’s Parks and Recreation to the biggest star in Hollywood. Between playing Starlord in Guardians of the Galaxy and Owen in Jurassic World, Chris Pratt has somehow found himself as the über bro. He went from husky to shredded. Comedian to serious actor.

When Chris Pratt isn’t on a movie set he’s still very much a regular bro. He likes to kick back and go fishing just like the rest of us. Knowing that Chris Pratt is a skilled angler, Vanity Fair tapped him for the video above. In this tutorial, Chris Pratt teaches us all how to fillet a fish, a skill every man on the planet should have.

Sure, fish come in all shapes and sizes. A halibut looks like an alien in comparison to a blue marlin. However, the general anatomy doesn’t change all that much across species when it comes to filleting fish. Furthermore, once you know how to fillet one fish you can sort of wing it when filleting all other fish on the planet because the basic techniques are the same.

If I had to put together a list of 5 people I’d love to go fishing with one day Chris Pratt would almost certainly be at the top of that list. It’s not Pratt’s fault that he’s a mostly freshwater fisherman. I’m sure I could get him hooked on snook and tarpon in no time.
