Christy Mack Reveals Torment Of Facing War Machine During Emotional Trial

In her first interview since the trial of War Machine, Christy Mack reveals traumatic details of what happened in the court room.

The interview, which airs Tuesday night on HBO’s “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel,” the porn star will provide insight and details of the gruesome attack and emotional trial.

Mack said that during the trial that War Machine told her he loved her, despite being on trial for brutally assaulting her so severely that he broke 18 bones near her eyes and a ruptured her liver.

“He had mouthed that he loved me and that was extremely difficult,” the 25-year-old said. “And I began bawling immediately. Because, for a long time, I did feel, you know, still emotionally connected to him.”

During the trial, Mack testified about the night of violence when War Machine found her in bed with a friend, Corey Thomas, who was also beaten.

Mack, who’s actual name is Christine Mackinday, said the emotional damage done by her ex-boyfriend and mixed martial arts fighter was as severe as the physical pain.

“I never looked at him except when I was asked to identify him,” Mack told correspondent David Scott about the recent trial.

Mack reveals in the interview that she once felt love for War Machine, as she struggles to fight back tears.

“She recovered from major surgeries and still had significant dental work to be done,” said Scott. “She will lose her front teeth in the next year as a result of damage sustained to her facial structure from the beating.

“Her endurance through it all speaks to her fortitude and stamina,” Scott added. “She wants to bring her perpetrator to justice while sending a message to men that it’s not all right [to beat women] and to women that it’s not all right to stay.”

On March 20, War Machine was found guilty of kidnapping and sexual assault in the bloody 2014 attack in Las Vegas.
