Three Cops Resign After Forcing Driver To Eat Weed During A Traffic Stop

In what sounds like Super Troopers IRL, three Phoenix policemen forced a driver to eat weed during a traffic stop.

Police pulled over the 19-year-old motorist for littering and littering and smoking the reefer speeding in a 2002 BMW at about 3:30 a.m. and later discovered marijuana in his car. To teach the boy a lesson, the officers stood there while he ate the whole bag. The driver obliged and ate the gram of marijuana. The victim said he felt ill from noshing on trees.

To add insult to unsavory injury, the teenager was still issued a traffic ticket after consuming the cannabis.

The driver filed a complaint the same day as the traffic stop.

On Thursday, police officers Richard Pina, Jason McFadden, and Michael Carnicle resigned. The officers’ supervisor, a police lieutenant with 20 years on the job, has been demoted in connection with the incident. Looks like they will have to apply for a guard job at the post office or as a waiter at that restaurant with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks.

Pina and McFadden could face criminal charges, said police spokesman Sergeant Jonathan Howard. Carnicle was at the scene but did not participate in the weed-eating event. Should have just played “Repeater” or the “Cat Game.”

“The allegations against these former officers are compelling, appalling and extremely unprofessional,” Phoenix Police Chief Joseph Yahner said. “Appropriate action has been taken.”

There is no truth to the rumor that the driver reacted like this after gorging on the ganja:
