Crack A Guinness And Enjoy This Awesome Timelapse Of The Chicago River Turning Green For St. Patrick’s Day

Glorious, isn’t it? Don’t answer that. Of course it is. An utterly beautiful shade of kelly green right there. Exactly what St. Patrick ordered up today. Well, minus a few shots of whisky, but you know what I’m saying.

If you’re unfamiliar with the tradition at hand, each weekend before St. Patrick’s Day, the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers have dyed the Chicago River green to kick off the city’s parade festivities. Been doing it for more than 40 years now, so that’s pretty sweet.

I’ll raise a glass to that one. Hope y’all will join.
