An eerie Google Earth photo shows something that appears to be a real-life sea monster. There is seemingly a huge creature thrashing around in the icy waters near Antarctica. Many believe that it is a goddamn, boat-crushing, man-eating kraken.
The YouTube video that has over 100,000 views maybe shows a 50-foot kraken breaching the water near the coast of where else but Deception Island. Of course.
Somebody get Perseus on the horn so he can stone this motherfucker.
These rumors come despite the kraken supposedly said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland, the opposite side of the world from Antarctica.
Some believe that the monster in question is a plesiosaur. YouTube user wowforreel, who uploaded the video, said, “No idea what this is but it’s circulating a few places right now and when I saw it, it IMMEDIATELY made me think of a Plesiosaur fin.” However, those dinosaurs went extinct at the end of the Cretaceous Period, about 66 million years ago.
Conspiracy theorists want to imagine that it is a UFO that is submerged underwater. Others believe that it is Ctuluhu. Many are throwing out more reasonable and boring ideas that it’s a Megalodon shark or a whale.
I have another possible hypothesis for this seemingly beastly monster… it’s your mom.
