Drink all you want and drive all you want, but don’t do the two together or else you’ll end up like Drake Bell this past Monday, who was pulled over by police “after speeding and swerving,” according to TMZ:
Drake Bell found himself behind bars Monday after cops busted him for driving under the influence.
Law enforcement tells TMZ the actor was driving in Glendale, CA when an officer saw him swerving and speeding after abruptly stopping at a red light. We’re told Bell was driving 55 in a 35 and when cops pulled him over, they noticed a smell of alcohol coming from the car.
Cops say Bell failed an on-site sobriety test and was locked up for nearly ten hours before bailing out for $20k.
Back in 2014 Bell also filed for bankruptcy, with legal documents stating he owed $581,000 and was only bringing in $2,820 a month. By peasant standards (us), that’s not horrible…however his expenses totaled to an insane $18,771. And we haven’t even said anything about the taxes he owes.
In other words, it sucks to be Drake Bell.
