I Need Eye Bleach After Seeing This Dude’s World Record For Bending His Feet Backwards

Maxwell Day has set a new Guinness World Record by bending his feet backward 157 degrees. Maxwell says that this bendability comes very easy to him, and this is something I can sympathize with.

If you bros have been BroBible for a while then you might remember my co-worker once outing me as the ‘dude with a weird hand’. The fingers on my left hand must be structured similarly to Maxwell’s feet because I’m able to bend my fingers all the way backward to touch my hand without feeling the slightest bit of pain. If you missed my colleague exposing my deformity to the world then let me update you on what that looks like via GIF:

You’d think that given my own bending deformity that I’d be totally cool with watching young Maxwell bend his feet backward 157 degrees, but I still find myself clenching hard while watching Max’s feet bend back.

I’m guessing that the most common question Maxwell Day is asked about his bendy feet is ‘when/how did you figure out you were capable of doing that?’ I doubt he remembers. I don’t recall when I figured out that my fingers bend all the way backward because it’s something that was just always there in my life. It’d be like trying to remember when I first knew I had ears.

Let’s take a moment and really appreciate how far backward Maxwell is bending his feet by looking closely at what’s happening here:
