This Bank’s Placed 100 Fake Pennies Across The Country, Each Worth $1000, Here’s What To Look For

Looking to pick up some extra cash for the holidays but aren’t into the idea of selling drugs and/or your body? Well, one bank has strategically placed 100 fake pennies throughout the United States and each one of the fake pennies is worth $1,000. Getting paid is as easy as finding one of the fake coins with a listed value of 100,000 cents on the back.

The bank is Ally Bank, and this is what the 100 fake pennies look like:

According to Yahoo! Finance, the fake coins have been distributed all throughout the nation, including (but not limited to) ‘New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Miami, Denver, Detroit, San Diego, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Austin, Texas’.

This is some real-life Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory shit right here. All you have to do is find a lucky penny and you’re getting PAID. Though, I suspect it’d be easier to win $1,000 on a scratch-off lottery ticket than to travel to Ally Bank every day in hopes of being one of 100 people to find a fake penny worth $1,000.

As of September 2015, Ally Bank boasts over 1 million customers. So the odds aren’t spectacular that you’ll find one of these fake pennies even if you’re an Ally Bank customer, but that sure as hell shouldn’t stop you from trying. FREE MONEY!!!!
