You could argue that this kid didn’t deserve to get popped in the face by this flopping bowfin. Kid was doing nothing but standing there, checking out the fish his dad or brother or someone plucked from the lake or the ocean or somewhere.
But I would argue that kid rightfully got whalloped in the face because 1. He had to learn somehow that a fish ain’t dead til it’s dead, and 2. The world is a better place when kids are getting socked left and right by flopping fish tails.
You can’t prove that it isn’t.
