Florida Man Attempts To Rob Pharmacy For Oxy, Brave Customer Intervenes And Absolutely Thrashes Robber

Oxycodone is a hell’uva drug. Just ask Robert Nemeth. At noon on Sunday, the 26-year-old walked into a Walgreens in Bradenton, Florida wearing a hoodie and a white towel over his face.

He went to the pharmacy area and then jumped on the countertop. He then informed the pharmacist that he had a gun and demanded all of the Oxycodone pills. Sounds like a peach of a plan thus far, minus that whole committing a crime in broad daylight part and putting yourself in the situation where you can get sentenced to 30 years in prison if you get caught.

But it wasn’t police or even employees who foiled Nemeth’s villainous caper. It was a Good Samaritan who not only prevented the robbery, but he absolutely wrecked the would-be-robber. Police say that Nemeth was knocked unconscious during his scuffle with the do-gooder.

Nemeth is charged with first-degree armed robbery.

Score one for people who still care about their community and are willing to put themselves in harm’s way to thwart a crime.
