France Wants To Ban Women From Dressing Like Hookers In Public

Which, like, fuck that. Fuck that, indeed. I love when women look like hookers. It’s an attractive look. Especially for the hookers. Like when a baseball player puts on a crisp, clean uniform. Just feels right.

Sure, it’s not the only attractive look and I like when women look fancy or dressed down or wear bathing suits, too.

But it really isn’t what I want. It’s what women want, and women should be allowed to dress however they want. I thought we solved this problem in like the 1960s. If they want to leave their house in a corset and thigh high stockings, they should be allowed to.

Except regressive, repressive France thinks that shouldn’t be the case.

The reason? They want to curb hooking. Prostitution. The practice is legal in France, but they want to make it harder for men to realize which ladies are the hookers and which are the businesswomen not being hookers by banning the wearing of slutty clothes outside.

Which is like, bullshit, man. From the Mirror:

France is set to bring in a tough new anti-vice law that makes ‘passive soliciting’ by appearing to be offering sex for sale illegal.

The legislation is aimed at changing the face of notorious red light districts like Pigalle and the Rue St Denis in Paris, where the streets are lined with scantily-clad hookers.

It is expected that prostitutes will be forced to wear casual clothing like jeans and trainers to get around the rules.

Hey man, don’t think a dude won’t fuck a woman wearing jeans and sneakers. Oh, no, I won’t have sex with that woman, she is wearing jeans and sneakers, said all men in unison all the time. If that were the case, high school dudes would never want to bone.

God, this is so dump.

Can non-prostitutes still prost it up for a night at the club or whatever the French call the club, le club?

Not necessarily, says the new law, which is slated to be voted on soon. It makes it “illegal to simply ‘look like a prostitute’ in public.”

That should go over well. Of course, this being sex, the law is completely gendered and hypocritical, making it a crime to sell sex, but not to purchase it.

But lawmakers in France’s upper house the Senate, who will vote on the law next week, decided not to penalise people for buying sex, only for selling it in public.

Cool. Good work, old dudes protecting yourselves while punishing women. That’s the spirit!

Meanwhile, everyone else aside from lawmakers in France actually want prostitution legalized.

A recent survey found there were more than 20,000 prostitutes working in France, and that six out of ten French men AND women wanted brothels to be legalised.

:/ France. :/ indeed.
