First Look At The 95-MPH Roller Coaster With A Vomit-Inducing First Drop (POV Footage)

The ‘Fury 325’ just completed its maiden voyage, and the new roller coaster expected to hit speeds of up to 95-MPH might have the sickest first drop in roller coaster history. I say ‘sickest’ because the Fury 325’s first drop is so insane it might actually induce vomiting, and it’s also the most impressive first drop I’ve ever seen on a roller coaster.

In reading up on this new Carowinds roller coaster I came across the terminology ‘giga coaster’, and now I’m wondering if I’m the only person alive who doesn’t know the intricacies of roller coasters. Did you bros know that term?

WGNTV reports:

The Fury 325 coaster at Carowinds in Charlotte, N.C., is classified as a “giga coaster” because is is between 300-399 feet hight (325 feet to be exact.) The coaster has an 81-degree initial drop and reaches 95 miles per hour.

Fury 325 is part of a planned $50 million multi-year expansion at the park.

Good. Great. GRAND. Get me on it NOW.

Just watch that first drop once more and tell me the Fury 325 isn’t the greatest roller coaster ever built:
