George W. Bush Showed Up For Jury Duty In Dallas, Which Was Pretty Chill

Nice to have good ole G.W. back in the headlines after a couple months of presidential kabuki theater. It’s for something down-to-earth and wholesome, too! Fulfilling his civic duty by showing up for jury duty in Dallas, Texas after being summoned. Via NBC News:

“President Bush received his jury summons and reported for service this morning at the George Allen Courts Building in Dallas,” Freddy Ford, Bush’s communications director, said in a statement. “He sat through the jury selection panel for a case in Judge Eric Moye’s court on the 14th civil district but — surprise! — was not picked to serve as a juror.”

Love that he didn’t just pull one of these. Bro move.
