Guy Gets $325 From GoFundMe So He Can Make Sure His Girlfriend Won’t Cheat On Spring Break

You have to trust your girlfriend for a relationship to be successful. You have to trust that while on spring break that your loving girlfriend won’t get shitfaced from guzzling down Natty Light from a beer bong and then blow a guy wearing Sperrys in a dark alley. You just have to trust her, even if there’s a 72% probability that she is going let go of her inhibitions and forget that you even existed for one intoxicated night. However this gentleman is not taking a chance of having his chick cheat on him when she’s on spring break.

Azel Prather Jr. has a lovely girlfriend who went to Miami for spring break, but he did not accompany her due to insufficient funds. So instead of just sitting back and letting fate take it’s course, Azel sought the help of the Internet to ensure that his missus wasn’t being skewered on the brotisserie while on vaca.

“If I had to pick one place for my girlfriend not to go, Miami would be it!” Prather told the Washington Post. He referred to Miami as every boyfriend’s “worst nightmare” and said, “I think the sun just melts all the morals in Miami. It’s a free-for-all!”

The 25-year-old created a plea on the crowd-sourcing site GoFundme and requested $300 for an airline ticket from Maryland to MIA.

Greetings people! As you know, spring break is fastly approaching and my youngin (pictured above) and her friends are going to Miami. If you know anything about Miami, you know that she shouldn’t go without a chaperone. I need to get there to be with her and share this joyous time but my funds have been exhausted. We have a great thing going and I would hate to see it go down the drain for a little sand and sun. If you can find it in your heart to donate ANYTHING to help save my relationship I would greatly appreciate it. I just need a round trip flight. I will be staying wherever she lays her head, eating whatever she eats, and overseeing all parties and fun activitiy for the duration of the trip. I thank you in advance. Please fellas, I love her.

Thanks and God Bless,

Azel Prather Jr.

Despite a slow start, the campaign of endearment did get some heat a few days later and now has been shared 1,700 times on social media. The Internet didn’t want a lifetime of love to be destroyed over a measly $300 so they responded with 24 donations equaling $325. But the generosity may be too late because Azel said his girlfriend of a year and a half will return later this week. He is extremely concerned about her posting sexy pics on her Instagram that have received more than 200 Likes. “I asked her to stop. That’s too many likes for me,” he requested.

He might have good reason to be worried.
