Hugh Hefner’s Son Doesn’t Agree With ‘Playboy’ Not Publishing Nude Photos, Wonders ‘The Hell Is The Company Doing?’

It was only a few months ago back in October that Playboy officially announced that they would no longer be publishing any nudity in the magazine, prompting everyone to wonder “So…what are we supposed to read Playboy for now?” It’s true that some people read Playboy solely for the interviews – but come on. You don’t pick up an issue, flip to the interviews and then rip out all the nudies and send them on their way down the garbage disposal (in this scenario your home only has a sink, no trashcans to be found anywhere). Think of the nudity like a cheeseburger. Sure cheeseburgers are great, but what would you prefer: a beef patty on a bun, or a beef patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato and all the fixings on top? That’s what the nudity is to Playboy: the extra shit on top that makes it better than average.

Judging from the above interview with Hugh Hefner’s 24-year-old son, Cooper, I’d say he agrees – not only did he not think that the nudity in Playboy was an issue, but he also openly disagrees with the decision to put the Playboy Mansion on the market for $200 million. Then again, maybe Playboy CEO Scot Flanders has a point – maybe nudity isn’t necessary in Playboy for it to be a successful business.

Only time will tell.
