Heineken Light Announces ‘Money Back Guarantee’ If It’s Not The Best Light Beer You’ve Ever Tasted

Heineken Light has announced a ‘money back guarantee’ for anyone who doesn’t think their beer is the best ‘light beer’ they’ve ever had, and they’ve enlisted the help of Neil Patrick Harris to spread the word.

It’s true: if Heineken Light isn’t the best light beer you’ve ever drank they’ll give you your money back. If you buy a six-pack of Heineken Light, drink it, and aren’t satisfied then you can head on over HERE to file for a refund. Here’s what Heineken Light had to say about their unique offering:

We’re so confident in Heineken Light’s award-winning flavor, we’re guaranteeing it’s the Best Light Beer you’ve ever tasted. Try a 6-pack and if you don’t agree, just let us know and we’ll give you your money back.

Heineken Light®, two-time award winner of the World Beer Championships, is so confident it’s the best tasting light beer you’ve ever tasted, that Heineken is offering a money back guarantee*. To inspire fans 21+ to try the Best Tasting Low Calorie Lager, Heineken is partnering for the second year with five-time Emmy award winner, host of two Primetime Emmy Awards, four Annual Tony Awards, and most recently, the 2015 Academy Awards, Neil Patrick Harris, on a new commercial and digital video to bring the offer to life in a humorous way.

“What we’re saying in the new creative is pretty simple: Heineken Light is a great tasting light beer,” says Neil Patrick Harris. “But if you’re crazy enough to not agree, Heineken will give you your money back.”

The money back offer follows the 2014 World Beer Championships announcement of Heineken Light as the “Best Tasting Low Calorie Lager” for the second year running. The beer, reformulated in 2013, is brewed with Cascade Hops, which gives it that smooth taste profile and floral, fruity hop aroma

I guess I’m a sucker for great marketing, because this seems like a no-brainer to me. I go buy some Heineken Light and if I’m not convince of its superiority I get my money back. I’ve only ever really drank Heineken Light when traveling in The Bahamas, because it’s for whatever reason a hugely popular beer there, but I guess I’m going to have to insert it into my regular beer rotation.
