This Helicopter Pilot Landing On A Ship Getting Destroyed By Waves Is A Total Badass

This POV footage of a helicopter pilot setting his whirlybird down on a ship in the Northern Atlantic Ocean getting absolutely ROCKED by waves is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.

When I think of helicopter pilots I typically think of two types: 1) highly-trained military helicopter pilots who are borderline cyborgs in their flying abilities and 2) pilots who fly executives from corporate HQ in and around cities like NYC each day. The pilot in this video falls into the former of those two categories, as he’s a helicopter pilot for the Danish Air Force. Yes, I know there are many other types of helicopter pilots in the world and I don’t need you to @ me in the comments about how your drunk uncle flies Grand Canyon tours for Las Vegas tourists.

I don’t know anything about this man that I can’t glean from watching this video. Based on this clip alone I’ll assume that he has balls of steel and an unimaginably steady hand. The average salaries in Danish Air Force range from $61,000 to $100,000, with the average Base Salary clocking in at $80,093/year. I sincerely hope that this bro’s getting paid on the highest end of that spectrum because he’s worth each and every penny.
