A Homophobe Sucker-Punched A Gay Couple In NYC, But — Whoops! — They Were West Point Grads And Totally Kicked His Ass

On Sunday night, in NYC’s Soho neighborhood, Daniel Lennox-Choate was attacked with a sucker-punch by a man in a bodega who was “screaming anti-gay obscenities.” Daniel’s husband, Larry Lennox-Choate III, apparently dropped him with some swift justice he learned at the United States Military Academy in West Point.

Daniel graduated from West Point in 2007, two years before his husband, Larry. The two married in 2013 at the West Point chapel, becoming the first two gay men to be married at West Point. The NY Daily news notes that Daniel has an MBA from Harvard and served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Just a reminder that being a certifiable Bro badass knows no sexual sexual orientation, gender, race, national origin, religion, age, marital status, or disability. Here’s how Larry tells the story. Dude taught that scumbag a lesson.

Bro moves all around.

It’s hard to believe that in 2015 we would have to deal with anti-gay hate crimes in soho of all places but that’s what…
