Watch Two Bros Eat 441 Hooters Chicken Wings In 10 Minutes And All Get Jacked Up For National Chicken Wing Day

This past Saturday in Clearwater some of the biggest names in competitive eating (Joey Chestnut) showed up for the 2015 Hooters World Wing Eating Championship, and Matt “The Megatoad” Stonie set a new chicken wing eating world record when he put down 241 chicken wings in just 10 minutes. Combined with Joey Chestnut’s 200 Hooters wings in 10 minutes, Matt Stonie’s world record setting performance puts just those two bros at 441 Hooters Chicken Wings in only 10 minutes. Try and wrap your mind around that for a few moments.

For years now I’ve been proclaiming my love of Hooters on this site. When it comes to chicken wings there’s simply no finer establishment to whet your appetite and satiate your hunger than Hooters. So when I heard about this wing eating contest at the Hooters down in Clearwater, Florida (home of the very first Hooters), I was a little bummed that I couldn’t attend. I grew up driving distance from that Hooters, and if I still lived down in Florida I’d have been there in a heartbeat. Instead I had to settle for Twitter pics of 2nd place finisher Joey Chestnut with Miss Hooters International Megan Pastorchik J, and a video (above) of the eating competition (pics of the Hooters girls and the competition down below):

Results of the 2015 Hooters Worldwide Wing Eating Championship are as follows:

Matt “The Megatoad” Stonie, San Jose, California – 241 wings
Joey “Jaws” Chestnut, San Jose, California – 200 wings
Adrian “The Rabbit” Morgan, New Orleans, Louisiana – 194 wings
Yasir Salem, New York, New York – 192 wings
Gideon Oji, Atlanta, Georgia – 170 wings
Michelle “Cardboard Shell” Lesco, Tucson, Arizona – 158 wings
Miki Sudo, Las Vegas, Nevada – 154 wings
Sonya “The Black Widow” Thomas, Alexandria, Virginia, AND “The Lovely” Juliet Lee, Germantown, Maryland – 126 wings
Juan “More Bite” Rodriguez, Chicago, Illinois – 118 wings
Richard “The Locust” LeFevre, Henderson, Nevada – 116 wings
Steve Hendry, Dixon, California – 114 wings
Erik “The Red” Denmark, Seattle, Washington – 106 wings

So I’m not sure if you bros know this yet or not, but this Wednesday, July 29th is National Chicken Wing Day. The Hooters Worldwide Wing Eating Championship was merely a prelude to this Wednesday when over 2 million chicken wings from Hooters are expected to be consumed (last year 1.7 million Hooters chicken wings were served). So even though Matt “The Megatoad” Stonie set a new world record by eating 241 wings in just 10 minutes, the real world record’s going to be set this Wednesday when each and every bro alive goes to Hooters to each chicken wings and we collectively demolish the goal of 2 million.

In order to surpass the goal of 2 million Hooters chicken wings consumed this Wednesday, Hooters is offering up a glorious special of $12.99 for all you can eat boneless chicken wings, or $14.99 all you can eat traditional wings. I’ll be at Hooters with my fellow BroBible bros, even if those bros don’t know it yet, because we love chicken wings and we’re going to do our part as Americans and eat a few hundred chicken wings to help reach and surpass that goal of 2 million.
