Surely by now you are aware that Facebook stores a shitton of data about you, but do you have any idea just HOW MUCH information they know about you? Because, it’s probably more than you realize.

It’s now been 13 years since Facebook hit the internet and many of you out there having been giving the social media behemoth a LOT of goodies to use for their own benefit.

For instance, did you know that Facebook can pinpoint the exact model of iPhone that you use? Because it can.

Here’s how to find out everything else Facebook has been compiling about you (and using), as explained by the good folks over at Good Housekeeping

1. Under the drop down arrow in the top right corner of your homepage, click settings.

2. From there, click on “ads” in the list to the left.

3. Under ad preferences choose “your information” then “your categories.”

4. You will then see a list of categories. To remove simply hover over and click the X.

Now this won’t stop you from getting inundated with advertising, but as GH points out with regard to companies outside of Facebook tracking you, “you can opt out of letting them track your web activity to use for advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance’s website.”

Here’s a video that explains the “advanced Facebook settings” even more. Good luck.
