Cash-Strapped ISIS Slashes Jihadists’ Salaries By 50%, Jimmy Kimmel Offers New Career Training

ISIS is having some financial issues as of late. Turns out that capturing large swaths of the Middle East, maintaining a military and pumping out propaganda can be a pricey endeavor. Now, the paychecks of the Islamic State terrorists are under siege.

Russia has been bombing ISIL relentlessly, including oil facilities in Syria. ISIS makes as much as $50 million a month from oil sales. It didn’t help that the U.S. bombed a cash depot in Mosul, Iraq.

A few days ago, leaked documents stated that the cash-strapped terrorist organization has slashed its fighters’ salaries by 50 percent.

Islamic State jihadists earn between $400 and $1,200 a month, plus a $50 stipend for their wives and $25 for each child, according to the Congressional Research Service.

In the ISIS government memorandum that was obtained by Aymenn Jawad al-Tamimi, a leading scholar who tracks ISIS, it states the following:

“On account of the exceptional circumstances the Islamic State is facing, it has been decided to reduce the salaries that are paid to all mujahideen by half, and it is not allowed for anyone to be exempted from this decision, whatever his position.”

Jimmy Kimmel has come to the aid of the ISIS fighters by offering them some career training so they can obtain a more promising career than global terrorism. On Thursday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, ISISTT Tech was introduced in a hilarious commercial.

The ISISTT Tech, “the first and only tech college for jihadist militants,” provides a place for terrorists to get a fresh start and learn valuable new skills. At this unique institute militants can explore new careers and get a degree in automobile repair, massage therapy, cosmetology and floral design. Admissions are sure to blow up.
