Outrage: KFC’s ‘NSFW’ Choking Chicken Ad Quickly Yanked Off Twitter

KFC caused quite the commotion with a “NSFW” ad on Twitter that insinuated their chicken sandwiches were a delightful as receiving a handjob. The campaign by KFC in Australia showed a man and a woman on a couch with the fella’s crotch blurred out, much like Jimmy Kimmel’s unnecessary censorship gag. The pic had the punny caption of “Warning: #NSFW. Something hot and spicy is coming soon.” Get it? They want you to think it’s a cock spewing nut butter, but it’s actually a spicy chicken sandwich. Now I known KFC is known for their breasts and legs, but was not aware they were also peddling handjobs.

“10 minutes into KFC and chill, she gives you this look.”

End of story.

WRONG!

People were “offended” at the casting couch-like image.

LoLz!

Quicker than you could get off from a dry handjob, KFC yanked the tweet. Less than one hour after it was posted on social media it was deleted. Then of course came the apology.

“This was a genuine tweet to launch KFC’s new Hot & Spicy chicken products next week. It was not intended to offend and we’ve removed the image,” KFC said in a statement to Australian website News.com.au.

Winner winner, chicken dinner for KFC because they got a ton of free publicity for their dirty bird tweet.

I don’t think the ad was offensive, but I also don’t think it’s a prudent idea for a food chain to compare their fried fare to a dry handjob that ends with a volcano eruption of jizz all over one’s khakis and the worst couch pillows of all-time. For me, that photo doesn’t make me think “Finger lickin’ good!” and it doesn’t conjure up a desire to have a chicken sandwich. Maybe a milkshake, but definitely not a chicken sandwich.
