Watch 10,000-Pounds Of Live Catfish Spilling Into The Streets Of China

It’s not every day that you get to see 10,000-pounds of live catfish accidentally dumped into city streets. But such is the case today, as 5-tons of live catfish fell into the streets of Kaili City in China’s Guizhou Province.

UPI reports:

A faulty latch on the back of a Chinese cargo truck resulted in nearly 10,000 pounds of live catfish being spilled onto a Guizhou Province road.

Firefighters and witnesses gathered the nearly 5 tons of live catfish and sprayed them with hoses to keep them alive until a bulldozer could scoop them back into the truck.

The photos from China.com are truly spectacular, and I highly suggest you check them out. It’s absolutely brilliant that they decided to use construction equipment to wrangle up their catfish.

Only in China would 10,000-pounds of LIVE FISH be transported in a faulty truck. Like, there’s zero chance of this happening anywhere else in the world (not even Florida). My hunch is that this was actually some guerilla marketing campaign for a new Anime series that’ll be launching this Spring, but only time will tell if my predictions come to fruition or not.
