Think Grand Theft Auto is *just* an Xbox fantasy? Sometime life does imitate art. A high speed police chase in Los Angeles ended when the subjects drove a pick-up truck (…suspected to be stolen) into a train tunnel on MetroRail’s Gold line after t-boning a taxi in East Los Angeles. When they drove into the train tunnel, they lost the choppers and were able to flea. Incredibly, a train in the tunnel missed them.
It’s literally GTA V in real life and probably the most ridiculous ending to a high speed chase I’ve ever witnessed on television.
The suspects — male and female — apparently fled on foot in the tunnel.
UPDATE: THEY GOT ‘EM… AND THE NEWS REPORTER ASKED HIM WHAT SHOES HE WAS WEARING!!!!!!
