If you’re not a Louis C.K. fan then you clearly haven’t spent enough time digesting his stand-up material. The man who was once famous for jacking off in a peep show after buying a a trumpet has since gone on to become a complete mogul.
He’s producing one major stand-up special per year, built from material throughout his complete schedule of live events, all while producing his Emmy Award winning show ‘Louie’. In short, this guy’s the tits.
Well it’s that time of year again when he drops a live stand-up special on us. To build some press on it he’s released a 4-minute clip about how pissed off babies are on airplanes (“because they hate gay marriage”), and if you like it you can head on over to his site and buy his special for just $5.
I just have to say one thing: I’m going to spend the $5 even though I know this man is making ungodly sums of money hand over foot. Everything he’s doing these days outside of his TV show he’s running through his how site. Selling tickets, comedy specials, everything…he’s cutting out TicketMaster fees, YouTube affiliate payments…it’s all going straight to him. And I’m just so fucking on board with that I can’t even begin to express myself. It’s him doing the work, why shouldn’t he get the money?
