Mary Glasure, 59, was about to face her first round of chemotherapy and was understandably nervous. To make matters worse one of the doctors who came in to meet with her at the Tony Teramana Cancer Center in Steubenville, Ohio was being quite rude.
“I have a lunch appointment I need to get to so let’s hurry up,” chided the obnoxious physician.
Little did Mary know that this “doctor” was in fact her 24-year-old son, U.S. Marine Corey Hoffmaster, who she hadn’t seen in two years.
“I needed my spirits boosted,” said Mary after the emotional reunion.
Mission accomplished, Marine. Mission accomplished.
