An Early Employee From Facebook Says Mark Zuckerberg Always Asked One Question When The Team Had New Ideas

Noah Kagan was Facebook’s 30th employee, and even though he served a mere nine months before being fired for poor performance/leaking info to the media, he was able to glean some invaluable insight from one of the world’s foremost technology entrepreneurial titans, Mark Zuckerberg.

During his 2014 interview with Ramit Sethi, the author of the worldwide acclaimed ‘I Will Teach You To Be Rich,’ Kagan said in his time at Facebook he’d continuously hound Zuckerberg with new ideas to generate profit; but Zuckerberg would always, always, ask ‘does it help us grow?’ If Kagan couldn’t put together an acceptable answer, or just like a firm yes, the Zuckerberg flat-out wasn’t interested. Kagan went on to disclose that Zuckerberg’s relentless commitment to keeping a clear and sole focus on growth was ultimately, arguably at that, the biggest component in such explosive growth as Facebook aged.

These days Kagan acts as the Founder/CEO of AppSumo where he currently is working to bring on one billion users for his helpful marketing tool.
