McDonald’s Employee Explains Why You Should NEVER Order Breakfast After 3pm

The McDonald’s all day breakfast option has been a success with customers, a failure but slight success in sales, but a total horror show for employees. The biggest issue is employees have to deal with the extra workload of prepping breakfast meals at the same time as the fries and Big Macs. The kitchen can only handle so much!

With all the extra work, let’s just say, the employees don’t always follow proper protocol when it comes to food prep. And they started venting about it all online…

Another user, who also claims to be a McDonald’s employee, revealed that the rush causes some workers to slack off and use eggs that aren’t fresh. “All day breakfast sucks,” the user wrote. “After about 3 we do cook to order breakfast (which takes up so much f**king time). Cleaning the grills to put down sausage is a b*tch. Plus, sometimes you get lazy [employees] that just cook a bunch of egg and then use that for the next 5 hours,” he dished, getting brutally honest. “IMO do NOT order all day breakfast after 3 because you don’t know what you’re going to get, some of my co-workers disgust me.”

Honestly, some fast food workers scare me AT ALL TIMES and not just when they’re being lazy. There’s a risk factor eating at any establishment, from fine dining to fast food, because a complete stranger is touching your food.

Order breakfast whenever you want. The heat of the grill kills most of the germs. Most.
