Meet Meth Dog, The Dog Who Tested Positive For Meth (And Heroin) (But Is Okay Now)

Bubba the Terrier knows how to party. Police found him lethargic in a motel room in Los Angeles. After tests, it was determined he had meth and heroin in his system.

Doggie speedballs!

Bubba’s owner, Joshua West, was in the room with him at the time and arrested for a great number of things: a parole violation, possession of meth, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, oh, and animal cruelty.

Police believe he gave the dog drugs intentionally.

“This strikes me as pretty horrible,” said Tustin police Lt. Robert Wright. “This is the first time we’ve ever heard of someone reporting that an animal has been under the influence.”

Bubba the meth dog is now recovering at an animal shelter (perhaps on methadog) and will be put up for adoption.
